The second part of my story is even more fun, and just as important as visiting my 88 years old mother. I have nine grandchildren and when they have a sports program or music affairs, I can drop every thing and go. Here again -It’s my schedule, not someone else’s.

And finally, but certainly not the least important, my husband absolutely loves having me part of the article marketing elite. I’m available no matter when he needs something. Women I think you know how husbands are - and I’m not talking about just the “big something” - I’m talking helping him find anything and everything that he’s misplaced.

I’m not into men bashing, so that’s not what that comment is all about, but sometimes I think it would just be easier if he dropped everything at the door and I put it away in the first place. In that way I could at least find it quickly, so I could get back to writing and earn us a bunch more cash to spend. He’d be happier too - he could actually afford to buy more tools to misplace.

Being part of the article marketing elite means I spend time writing every day, well just about - every once in awhile even we take a day off to just play! My main concern about going back to work was my mother is in a nursing home and I like to visit her every other day. She has dementia and having me stop by for a visit every other day really brightens her day, and I’m amazed how much she can still teach me even though her mind is not the same as it was.

I wouldn’t want to miss those visits, and if I had to hold down a job the scheduling would be hard. There are only certain hours in a day that my mother is awake ready for visitors, and I don’t want to miss out on these. Now that I’ve join the article marketing elite I can work when it is convenient for me, not when my boss dictates when I should come and go. That enables me to visit when she’s awake.
