Article Marketing Versus Banners: Which Is Better?

Banner advertising, what’s that?  and is it truly better that Online Article Marketing? You could ask. 

Banner advertising is when you create an advert in the shape of an image, this image ad is generally about 468 pixels wide by sixty pixels tall ( but sizes do change ), the image ad or banner is then placed on a related site in the form of an advert for your service or product.  When this banner is clicked it will link that interested person back to your Internet site.  While this can seem good, this system of advertising is steadily on the decline.  The click thru rate has fallen and is now at the point at which gaining an irrelevant half percent click through rate would be looked on in a positive light. 

The reason behind this decline is easy.Internet users are learning to overlook and ignore banners.  The average web user is trying to find information and doesn’t want the distraction of an image advert.Users want to go direct to the good stuff, that being the content.  And while you have heard it one thousand times before, “content is king”.
